Johnson Scholarship Announcement

We are currently seeking applicants on behalf of the Mississippi Geological Society for the Johnson Scholarship ($500 est.)

This scholarship is awarded to:

someone with a unique story of difficulties surmounted to pursue an undergraduate degree in geology or geological engineering
a hard worker willing to learn, with a more than normal interest in a geoscience field, who possibly has or had to work outside of school to finance his/her education

This is not a GPA driven award, though at least a 3.0 GPA is advantageous.
