Boland Scholarship Announcement

We are currently seeking applicants on behalf of the Mississippi Geological Society for the Boland Scholarship.

Qualifications:

Junior or Senior Geology or GE major
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Geological curiosity with plans to pursue a career in the Geosciences
Responsible, dependable and of good ethical character
Good communication skills
Have need for financial assistance
Willingness to attend the awards banquet in Jackson in early April

Other factors may also be considered, such as participation in groups, outside work, career goals, other awards, etc.
