In the Department of Geology and Geological Engineering we offer two undergraduate programs and three different graduate programs.
Undergraduate Programs
- B.S. in Geology – studying the earth’s history, its composition and processes, as well as potential hazards such as earthquakes, volcanoes, landslides and climate change.
- B.S. in Geological Engineering – considering the engineering properties of rocks for building and protecting foundations, dams, levees, tunnels etc.
